Sizes are layered so you can print only the size you need, or any other size as many times as you want. To select the correct size, refer to the size chart and the measurements of the finished garment provided in the instructions.

When selecting a size, please refer to the measurements in the table, as they differ slightly from body measurements due to wearing ease. This will give you a clear idea of how the finished dress will fit including dress length, allowing you to make any necessary changes to the pattern before tailoring.

Dress length on the HPS varies from 111 cm to 121 cm (44 – 47 inches) depending on the size.

For the Vivien dress pattern, you can choose any woven fabric, whether it has little stretch or not. You can select from various fabric weights, such as light, medium, or heavy, depending on the season or occasion. Suitable fabric options include taffeta, satin, cotton, linen, wool blends, brocade, denim, crepe, Tencel, cupro, velvet, and synthetic blends.
Please note that this pattern is not suitable for knit fabrics.
