Corset Mini Dress Sewing Pattern: Sweetheart Neckline, Hourglass Fit (US 00-22) (PDF Pattern)
Corset Mini Dress Sewing Pattern: Sweetheart Neckline, Hourglass Fit (US 00-22) (PDF Pattern)
The Millie corset mini dress is digital PDF sewing pattern.
The Millie corset mini dress is a romantic corset dress pattern that features a full circle voluminous skirt , accentuating the hips and creating the illusion of a smaller waist. The corseted bodice, complete with a sweetheart neckline and V-shaped waistline, beautifully shapes the body and defines the silhouette.
It has a convenient back zipper for easy wear. Instead of lining, the dress includes a corset facing, which simplifies the sewing process for beginners. If you prefer better support, consider making a lined corset; you can find tips for this in the Pattern Instructions.
Ideal for all formal events, romantic date nights, dinner dates, cocktail parties, weddings, proms, stylish events…
This is a PDF digital sewing pattern. You can easily download and print it at home using your printer (or if you like, at a print shop) and assemble the pages by taping them together.
This pattern is available in a digital PDF format, allowing you to download and print it at home using your printer, or you can opt to print it at a print shop.
The pattern pages are designed to be assembled by taping them together.
The sizes in the pattern are layered, so you can print only the size you need, or print any size as many times as you like. Each size is in a different color.
You can easily open and print the PDF files with the patterns using any PDF application. For the best experience, I recommend using Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer.
The "Final Dress Measurements" table provides the exact measurements of the finished dress for each size.
When selecting a size, please refer to the measurements in the table, as they differ slightly from body measurements due to wearing ease. This will give you a clear idea of how the finished dress will fit allowing you to make any necessary adjustments before cutting.
The pattern covers 13 sizes, ranging from:
US 00-22
EU 30-54
UK 2-26
Dress length from HPS to hem varies from 90 cm to 102 cm (35 – 40 inches) depending on the size.

To achieve a flowing, soft effect, opt for fabrics like thin satin, viscose, silk, rayon challis, linen-viscose blends, or Tencel blends. Chiffon and organza are also great choices.
For a fuller look, consider thicker fabrics such as thick satin or brocade. Taffeta and other mid-weight to heavy-weight fabrics also work well.
When using heavyweight fabrics, the gathering at the waist and the skirt itself will appear richer and more voluminous. With lighter fabrics such as cotton or chiffon, the gathering at the waist will be softer, and the skirt will have less volume.
When purchasing fabric please buy 5-10 % more than required
You will need:

• Matching thread

What file formats are included in my purchase?
What file formats are included in my purchase?
Our digital patterns typically include the following PDF files:
- Print-at-Home: Formatted for standard US Letter and A4 paper.
- Copy Shop (A0): A large-format file for printing at a local copy shop or online printer.
- Projector File: Optimized for cutting directly using a sewing projector.
- Instructions: A detailed, step-by-step sewing tutorial with illustrations or photos.
How do I make sure the pattern prints at the correct size?
Always open your PDF in a dedicated reader (like Adobe Acrobat) rather than a web browser. In your printer settings, select "Actual Size" or set the scale to "100%". Do not check "Scale to Fit" or "Fit to Page." Print the first page with the test square and measure it to ensure it is exactly the right size before printing the rest of the pattern.
Do your patterns have layers?
Yes! Most of our patterns feature PDF layers. This allows you to toggle specific sizes on or off in Adobe Acrobat, so you can print only the size(s) you need, saving ink and making the lines much easier to trace or cut.
What skill level are your patterns?

How do I choose the right size?
How do I choose the right size?
Please refer to the detailed size chart included on each pattern's product page, as pattern sizing often differs from standard ready-to-wear clothing sizes. Base your choice on your current body measurements (bust/chest, waist, and hips) rather than your typical store size.
